Privacy policy

TryToolFit ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This site is a static publication — there are no user accounts, and we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we do and don't collect.

What we collect

• Privacy-friendly analytics (always on). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country). It does not use cookies and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. We can't identify you from it.
• Optional analytics (only with your consent). If you accept on the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics 4 (traffic and on-site behaviour, including which comparison/affiliate links are clicked) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised heatmaps and session replays that show how pages are used). These may set cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless, consent-denied mode and Clarity does not load at all. You can decline, and you can change your mind any time (see Cookies).
• Email, only if you give it. If you submit your email to our newsletter, we store it with our email provider (MailerLite) to send you the updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email, any time.
• Server logs. Our host (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard, short-lived request logs (e.g. IP address, user agent) for security and reliability. We don't use these for tracking.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data.
• We don't run advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
• We don't build advertising profiles on you.

Cookies & consent

By default the site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you'll allow optional analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may set cookies to measure usage; if you decline (or ignore it), they don't. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. To change your decision, clear this site's site data / local storage in your browser and reload — the banner will reappear.

If you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor may set its own cookies to attribute the referral — that's governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you follow one, the vendor may record that the visit came from us in order to credit a commission. See our affiliate disclosure. We don't receive your personal information from these vendors — only aggregate referral/commission data.

Third-party services we use

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Google Analytics 4 — site usage and link-click measurement (only with your consent).
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised heatmaps and session replays (only with your consent).
• MailerLite — email newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe).
• Google Fonts — web fonts, served to render the site.
• YouTube (no-cookie) — tutorial videos load only after you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete any personal data we hold about you (in practice, an email address if you subscribed). Email vlad@trytoolfit.com and we'll handle it promptly. If you're in the EEA/UK, Switzerland, or California, you have specific rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP, and the CCPA respectively; this policy and our practices are designed to honour them.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and creators and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
